Plain English. What we collect, why, who we share it with, and the rights you have over it. We are a UK travel-deal publisher and we keep data collection to the minimum we need to run the service.
Who we are
Travel Insiders Club is a UK-based travel-deal publisher. We find cheap flights, holidays, day trips and hotel deals and point you to where to book them. We do not sell travel and we never take your payment. For data-protection purposes, Travel Insiders Club is the data controller for the personal data described below. What we collect
We deliberately collect very little. Depending on how you use the site, that may include:
- Email address and chosen home airport — only if you sign up for our free deal alerts.
- Messages you send us — if you use the contact form, we receive what you write and your email so we can reply.
- Basic technical data — anonymous or aggregated usage data such as which pages are visited, collected to keep the site working and improve it.
We do not collect payment details (you never pay us), and we do not ask for names, addresses, or any special-category data.
How we use it
- To send the free deal-alert emails you asked for, tailored to your home airport.
- To reply to messages you send us.
- To understand which deals and pages are useful, so we can improve the service.
We do not sell your personal data. Ever.
Legal basis
Under UK GDPR, we rely on your consent to send you deal-alert emails (which you give when you subscribe and can withdraw at any time), and on our legitimate interests to run, secure, and improve the website and to respond to enquiries.
Who we share it with
We share personal data only with the service providers that make the site run, and only as needed:
- Email delivery — our newsletter platform sends the alerts and stores your subscription (email and home airport).
- Hosting & infrastructure — our servers and their providers.
- Analytics — aggregated, privacy-respecting usage measurement.
We may disclose data if required by law. We do not pass your details to advertisers.
Social media & Meta
We publish our own deal content to our own social channels (such as our Facebook Page and Instagram account) using the official Meta APIs. This is outbound publishing only — we post our deals to our pages. We do not use these connections to collect data about you, access your social account, or post on your behalf. If you interact with our posts on those platforms, that interaction is governed by the relevant platform's own privacy policy.
Cookies & analytics
We use a small number of cookies that are necessary for the site to function, and privacy-respecting analytics to understand aggregate usage. We do not run intrusive advertising trackers. You can control cookies through your browser settings.
How long we keep it
We keep your email subscription for as long as you stay subscribed. Unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email, and we remove you promptly. Contact-form messages are kept only as long as needed to deal with your enquiry.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to correct it, to have it deleted, to withdraw consent, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these, just contact us and a person will handle it.
